WORKSHOP at Virginia Commonwealth University

ANTEEKSI visiting Virginia University at Richmond, U.S. to have a workshop and a lecture.

Workshop theme ’Living Thing’.
Mission to create a brand new creature in five days. Six teams mixing interior, fashion and graphic design students participate.

Saturday 4th march

Sunday 5th march

Hel-lo, hel-lo, hel-lo...

Monday 6th march

Exciting! First meeting with students.
First mission is to describe the new creature in words.

Tuesday 7th march

Each team present image and materials of new creatures which were described yesterday by another team.

We are offered to use this huge 3north architects empty space for final presentation and party at the warehouse area.

Wednesday 8th march

Living this get materialized.
We get to see the creatures for the first time!
Skeleton ready, still plenty of time to add flesh around the bones.
Stickonu is born.
These cute creatures are eating human flesh.
These people are not sleeping at all. Creatures keeps on growing especially at night times.
Rebecca and the poisonous creature.
This creature is invisible and made mainly out of helium.
 

Thursday 9th march

Final checking how the creatures turned out and skethes for each creatures environment.

Friday 10th march

All set for transportation.
 
 
 

Catwalk time!

All creatures do their moves on the catwalk. Show continues with guided safari tour where one can see the creatures in their natural environment. Tour guide Jason will lead the way.
